"Hide The Hate Sheets"
Cover up The Sun, The Daily Express and The Daily Mail with any other non-gutter press publication in newsagents, supermarkets and on newstands so they're not visible. Works on two levels. No sensationalist headlines to catch the eye and fewer papers being bought.

What can I do?

Write to three Lords a day!

Arguably one of the best hopes for blocking Brexit, with a lot of sympathy for our cause, and they have asked to hear from us.

This PDF contains their personal email addresses, as well as generic ones. NB: you can only send six identical messages to the generic addresses in a 48hr period. More than that and they block you!

Linking Professor A C Grayling's brilliant letter to all 650 MPs in your email is a good idea. He makes the case for the undemocratic nature of the referendum. The answer he received to it, and his response is also very useful.

Write to MPs

Ask them to vote against triggering A50. The WriteToThem website is the best way to do this. You don't even need to know who your MP is! Just pop in your postcode and it'll take it from there. It's dead easy.

Again, A C Grayling's arguments may help you formulate your email (links in the Lords box).

Write to Teresa May too.

Tell her how you feel.

Voting for pro-EU Parliamentary candidates, regardless of their party, can stop Brexit in its tracks.

TEARING YOUR HAIR OUT OVER THE LACK OF CHALLENGE ON THE BBC? THEN TELL THEM!

The more people complain instead of just muttering under their breath or shouting at the TV in frustration, the more they may start to take note and things may start to change.

You can complain here

show your support for ...

CHARLES GOERENS MEP. He's putting forward an amendment calling for "associate EU citizenship' for those who want to keep their European citizenship even after their country withdraws from the EU. He needs our support.

GUY VERHOFSTADT. Like his Facebook page and leave supportive comments, or contact him via his website.

CAROLINE LUCAS. She has clearly stated that she will vote against Article 50. Like her Facebook page or send her an email

Simply showing online support for celebrities who have spoken out against the gutter press like Gary Lineker, or high profile remainers such as Lily Allen, David Attenborough and Gina Miller helps enormously from a morale boosting point of view for them. They receive a lot of vile abuse online , so putting their heads above the parapet is a very brave thing to do.

Boycott pro-Leave businesses like Wetherpoons, Next, Dyson and Timpsons.

Support #StopFundingHate

Enough's enough.

Take a stand against the hate spread in  The Daily Mail, The Daily Express and The Sun.

This powerful video sums up what they are trying to do.

Please show it to all your friends!

When you are aware of a company (particularly one which claims to be ethical) advertising in the gutter press simply leave a request on their Facebook pages, email them, tweet them or send them a letter saying you won't shop with them again until they stop. The more people who do this, the quicker they will reconsider.

And please consider signing this petition.

Talk to Leave voters

The Brexit Café (a closed Facebook group) is a 'safe space' where remain-supporting and leave-supporting people can talk. Talking to people, calmly and respectfully, about their decision to leave may help change their minds, and thereby help create the much-needed shift in public opinion.

Below are some things you can do to keep the remain voice heard.

Some are time consuming, but many are not. It is vital to keep the conversation going.

Silence IS acceptance.

So please do as much as you can, as often as you can.

find
alternative media sources

If you're getting all your information from the BBC and other mainstream media you could be forgiven for thinking that remainers have given up and gone away. Discover a world of more balanced media coverage amongst these sources (some admittedly left-leaning):

Al Jazeera English

France 24

The New European

The FT

Business Insider

The Guardian

The Independent

The New Statesman

Private Eye (satire)

The Economist

The Week
